Woke up just us girls this morning. Xander is at Nana & Papa's having an impromptu sleepover, and Jon's working..(he'll be off later just in time for all the bbq and firework fun)..so what better way to enjoy a very girlie morning on our country's independence day? why painting red, white and blue nails of course!! I enjoyed a very delicious cup of coffee (loving the starbucks gazebo blend!) while painting some super fun nails...
we got fancy with Hailey's nails, putting a french tip on the red nails and hand painting a white star on the blue ones..
Evie wasn't quite as patient, so we opted for just solid red, white & blue alternating colors..which were smudged about 2 minutes later...ETA: she has peeled off all of her polish..only 5 hours later. nice.
fun morning....ahhh...I'm feeling so refreshed. After a very powerful and impromptu little prayer over me at Isaak's birthday party (right in the middle of Peter Piper Pizza) yesterday, my soul is so rejuvenated. thank you Karen, for realizing just how much I needed prayer at that very moment. love you..
Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Have a super fun safe day...we're off to a little bbq for swimming, grilling and fireworks this afternoon. you?
And a big HUGE thank you to the men and women serving our country. We are so very blessed for our freedom.
[hitting me personally today as we just said goodbye to my brother a few weeks ago..he's off to serve our country and I could not be more proud. :) love you Joey. (Jill thank you so much for this picture....I treasure it with all my heart) ]
