Introducing Bry..we are so excited to have had this girl in our line-up -- I had asked Lindsey if she knew anyone that would be interested in joining us and she brought us this lovely!  And like Lindsey, we hadn't met Bry prior to our day of shooting..but as you can see Bry was a total rockstar.  seriously.  look:

Bry, you were a total ROCKSTAR.  beautiful.  I think I was most amazed at how your eyes danced and sparkled -- your soul shining through each and every bat of your eye..you are so lovely and we were so blessed to have you in our line-up.  Thanks so much for being up for anything and jumping in at whatever setting I suggested.  Your future is bright.  I just know it.  love, ashley & jon.

Introducing Lindsey...we had never met prior to the day of the shoot and all props to Dena for finding us this amazing model!  She totally rocked out the shoot and we were so stoked to have had the opportunity to photograph this beauty..I'm pretty sure that these images speak for themselves!

 

 

 

 

 

I think this MIGHT be my favorite shot of the day -- it was a tough choice, but I love how natural everything is in this photo -- and the breeze!  so lovely..I get positively giddy over little breezes..

 

  

Lindsey, you are gorgeous.  We are so stoked that we crossed paths and that we added you into our ambassador shoot -- you totally rocked it!  Thank you SO much for running all over town with us and trecking through the field in flipflops!  Your personality shines through that amazing smile of yours and we canNOT wait to see what your future holds!  Hope you have an AMAZING senior year!  Go class of 2010!  love, ashley & jon.

drumroll please......

I present to you the 1st of 3 in our 2010 highschool senior model lineup!

I don't quite know where to begin talking about this one...(seems to be the trend lately, right?)  I've know Randy for going on 7 years now (although, that whole time he didn't really know me....lots of people tend to know YOU when you're one of the pastor's kids (rpc!  hollllla!!) ).  It wasn't until I started serving along side of Jon in Building 78 (our church's jr high youth program) that I actually got to KNOW Randy).  We've had lots of good times over the 4 years that I've KNOWN known him, lots of fun @ camp, etc...but what I really wanted to spotlight here and now, is what an incredible man of God Randy is.  You see 1 year and 10 days ago, Randy was in an accident that changed his life.  And while I don't have the words to express just what he went through and how much he grew spiritually (which was also tribute to what an amazing foundation of faith he already had), this video *might* give you a glimpse of what happened a mere 375 days ago.

Randy -- we had so much fun chasing you around Mill Ave, and trecking through an empty field of dead pecan trees..we are so amazed at how much you've grown over the years, and are beyond words ecstatic to see the plans that God has for your life...your faith is such an inspiration.  love, ashley & jon.

.2010.ambassadors.

dude.  DUDE.  It was a good round..we were blown away by our amazingly gorgeous 2010 highschool senior ambassadors!  We just finished up with the editing and I am SOOO SOOO SOOO excited to give you a little teeny glimpse of what goodness is in store...I think I'm going to break these up into three seperate posts -- spotlighting each highschool senior!  I'll start that up on Monday..

We starting to fill up our books -- so if you have a highschool senior or know one or know someone who has one/knows one -- point them here.  We'd love to capture their ultra fab senior year memories!

Randy, Lindsey, and Bry...you three were ROCKSTARS.  Seriously.  Just wait..just wait and see...

Seriously, could this girl *be* any cuter?!?!  Despite the unexpected FREEZING temps, this girl rocked it like it superstar.  I was in heaven with her assortment of belts, boots, jewels and flowers..

 

 

 

 

I'm pretty sure that I let out an audible sound of joy when I saw this as we walked around her backyard.  That's right.  Her backyard.  This beauty was right there. in. her. backyard.  I was in heaven, once more...

I was so stoked to kick off the fab two zero zero nine with a little senior photo shoot action..I really heart shooting highschool seniors.  Partly because after graduation, their lives can change *SO* rapidly.  I feel like its so important for mom and dad to grab these last moments of their babes so that they can really treasure their last bit of "childhood".  And for two, they're usually just about up for *any*thing! 

case and point...this next shot, I originally asked Alex to sit along the curb when no cars were going by so that I could run *into* the street to snap a couple ten frames.  And the response? 

alex: well..would you rather me just go sit in the median?

me:  why yes.  yes I would.

 

and the rest of the shoot?  such a blast.
